I think his approach of building the party, rather than personalities is the correct approach if the WP is to be viable and durable.El Lobo Locohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15175480795509003725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-249142036245875345.post-42589355134883747862011-04-26T09:16:00.637+08:002011-04-26T09:16:00.637+08:00I do wonder what Aaron's basis for many of the...I do wonder what Aaron's basis for many of the assertions he makes are. He asserts, without proof or with the hidden confidentiality of "a source", that Low Thia Khiang is displeased to have people rise faster than him.

2 logical problems ensue:
1) That President's Scholars are necessarily talented and are for everyone. I believe that many President's Scholars are academically talented and show leadership-within-the-system potential. This is different however from saying that they will be universally palatable to everyone - I believe, though without proof, that some President's Scholars suffer after leaving civil service.

2) That the Worker's Party cannot be judged on its own merits but by the standards of the current system. On one hand the non-PAP parties are criticised for not having personality or clear manifestos, and yet on the other criticised for not taking in people who fit in another party's system.

Distinctly not impressed.Tris Xavierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09558903883177978660noreply@blogger.com
