Ukraine is “the most modern fought war in recent times”.
Lessons include how a less equipped military force can resist a better equipped army, how a non-existent navy can defeat an adversary's naval vessels, and how drones are a force multiplier.
The immediate lesson is the need for more drones and loitering munitions.
Infantry Fighting Vehicles should have launchers to deploy loitering munitions like Switchblade 300 and 600 to scout ahead and neutralise enemy positions and assets.
Anti-tank munitions on non-tank vehicles can engage enemy tanks.
Sea surface drones can engage and neutralise adversary naval assets.
